Day Two

After a really good breakfast of freshly baked bread, cakes and coffee off to explore. First though the nearby indoor market, fruit and vegetables set out like in the local supermarket back home! I wish! Then on to the old part of town to the Gothic Cathedral- very interesting. As you walk through the inner courtyard there are real gease swimming in a fountain. Before this we had only seen the outside of the building so a surprise what was inside.

Then after a visit to one of the camera shops it was down to the metro and a ride to the Sagrada Familia.

After more than hundred years Sagrada Familia is a hive of building. Nobody knew what Gaudi's exact plans for this cathedral were as he kept changing them adding something creative all the time. So people just keep on building. We took some shots and then decided to wait for some night shots. Time to eat: we chose a Chinese “eat all you can” for something like 7 euros- excellent. After taking some more photos we made our way to the centre again for a stroll around the centre- window shopping as they say before returning to our hotel.
